At BaBinaTau, we are committed to ensuring a smooth and satisfying shopping experience for our customers. Our Shipping and Return Policies have been carefully designed in compliance with South African law to provide you with important information about our processes. Our Shipping Policy outlines our delivery process, including areas we ship to, processing and delivery times, shipping fees, and what happens in case of delivery issues or damage. Please note, at this time, we only ship within South Africa. Our Return Policy, on the other hand, provides details about our exchange-only policy, products eligible for exchange, the exchange process, and shipping responsibilities in case of returns. Shipping Policy

At BaBinaTau, we aim to provide a seamless shopping experience, which includes an efficient and reliable delivery service. Our Shipping Policy, which is compliant with South African law, is detailed below:

  1. Shipping Areas: Currently, we only ship within South Africa. We do not offer international shipping.

  2. Processing Time: Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days. Once your order has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.

  3. Delivery Time: Delivery typically takes 3-5 business days, depending on your location within South Africa. We will do our best to ensure your package arrives as soon as possible, but we are not responsible for delays outside of our control.

  4. Shipping Fees: Shipping fees are calculated at checkout, based on the weight and size of your order and your location. All shipping fees are non-refundable.

  5. Delivery Issues: If you have not received your order within the expected timeframe, please contact our customer service team. We will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

  6. Failed Delivery: If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect or incomplete delivery address provided by the customer, or if the customer was not available to receive the package after multiple attempts by the delivery service, the customer will be responsible for the cost of reshipping the package.

  7. Shipping Damages: If your product arrives damaged, please contact our customer service team within 48 hours of receiving the package, with photographs of the damaged product and packaging. We will arrange for a replacement product to be sent to you as soon as possible.

Return & Exchange Policy

At BaBinaTau, we value our customers and strive to ensure satisfaction with every purchase. However, we understand that there may be times when you need to exchange a product. Our Return Policy, which is in line with South African law, is as follows:

 

1. Exchange Policy: We do not offer refunds, but we will happily exchange a product within 3 days of shipment. We only ask that the item be returned in its original condition, unused, and with all original packaging and tags.

 

2. Notification of Exchange: Should you wish to exchange a product, please contact our customer service team within 3 days of the shipment date. Our team will provide you with an Exchange Authorization and further instructions. Please do not return products without this authorization, as they will not be exchanged.

 

3. Products Eligible for Exchange: All products are eligible for exchange, provided they are returned in their original condition, have not been used, and are in their original packaging.

 

4. Products Not Eligible for Exchange: Any items returned more than 3 days after the shipment date will not be eligible for exchange. In addition, any items that have been used, are not in their original condition, or do not have their original packaging and tags, will not be eligible for exchange.

 

5. Exchange Process: Once we have received and inspected your returned item, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item and of the approval or rejection of your exchange. If you are approved, then your exchange will be processed, and a new item will be dispatched to you.

 

6. Shipping: Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the item back to BaBinaTau for an exchange. We advise using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance, as we can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item. BaBinaTau will cover the cost of shipping the exchanged item to the customer.

 

Please note that this policy does not affect any statutory rights you may have as a consumer (such as consumer guarantees under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008).
